About ArrowheadGuide

ArrowheadGuide.com is a field reference platform built for artifact collectors across North America. Whether you're in a plowed field in Tennessee or a creek bed in Texas, our goal is to help you identify what you've found — quickly and reliably.

We catalog projectile point types from the Paleo period through the Mississippian era, covering thousands of years of human craftsmanship. Each entry includes identification tips written for people holding the artifact, not reading a textbook.

Our AI identification tool uses image analysis to suggest matches from our growing database of 500+ point types. It's a starting point — not a substitute for experience and community knowledge.

Our Principles

• Privacy First: We never ask for GPS coordinates, specific site locations, or public land names.
• Legal Awareness: We encourage all collectors to understand and comply with local collection laws.
• Community Driven: The best identifications come from experienced collectors sharing knowledge.
• Mobile Ready: Built for the field, not just the desktop.
